IT’S ALIVEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

… okay, so this would be the second or third or fourth attempts at restarting this blog after the same amount of attempts to give it up. What can I say? I guess, I just have this love-hate relationship with my blog.

As mentioned here in this supposed-to-end-here-and-now post, I wanted to turn this blog into some toy collection thing, that in years to come you will be able to find it in hidden areas in your store room. You would rip the dusty packaging apart and find all the toys (the broken and not broken ones) that you used to entertain yourselves with as a child. Sweet memories and good old times will suddenly flash back in your head.

And then you start to wonder, how you wish to be a kid once again. Living the carefree life. Couldn’t care less about the world and all the politics and what nots.

The truth is, we can’t reverse time and revert back to being kids once again. But what we can do to preserve the eternal child within us is to look at things on a brighter note. There are ups and downs in life, but if we always see the glass as half empty and not half full, we will always be stuck with the mentality of trying to fill the other half of the glass. Instead of making up all these stories about prodigies and nonsense.

I’m not trying to do anything out of this blog (I wouldn’t mind if I can get a quarter of what Kenny Sia is getting!), but my main purpose of restarting this blog is so that I could use it count my blessings, before or the ones to come. I guess this will be my take in life from now on.

The One With The MRSC Competition and Updates

If you’re reading this, yes I am very much still alive. Some of you hope that I’m dead or gone for good, but nah ahh, I’m still standing strong… or at least I think I am.

Oh, what’s with the ducks? Nah just something random… *thanks to the ducks in KL Performing Arts Center*

So studies is on hold now, undergoing two months of break and beginning next year I will be a year 2 student. Still think that my decision to hop wagons to switch from business to mass communication is the best decision I made for myself in the education path. To God be the glory for sustaining me all the way and guiding me throughout this switching process. So if you’re wondering, I really only have 1 and a half years left, and after that I’m off to my internship and I’m graduating after that.

Gonna start work with Nielsen company as a data entry personnel, together with her, for one month, and December is set to be a fantastic month already. Why? Okay, *clears throat*, here’s why.

I’m not the kinda person who joins competitions and stuff (too calculative and gutless to join these things, not brave enough, fear of rejection, and bla bla bla), but a David Lim wrote a song for this Malaysian Revival Songwriting Competition. It got selected to be in the prelimination rounds or heats as what they called it, and today was the selection round, where 9 out of 20 performers ranging from individuals and groups from all over the nation. David put together a group consisiting or Marcus, Ian, Aaron and myself, and guess what? We got through!! Yes we are in the finals, where the winner will get something big I guess. Not so sure myself, so please click HERE to find out more. And oh yeah…

Besides that, December will be fun cuz it is Christmas! It always feels good during that time of the year. My church will be having an open house thingy in the community hall around my church area, and fingers crossed I hope I won’t be Santa Claus, though I ‘qualify’ to be one.

Haha… CF camp was fun. Back to realitywise, pains and aches everywhere now. Sigh… but it’s fun nonetheless…

The One With The ‘Gimme A Break’…

I’m going nuts…

After a week of non-stop practices, rallying to and fro between Cheras, PJ and Segambut, and having cleared 2 out of 3 sessions for the conference that requires all this practices, here I am, stealing some precious few hours away from the conference, came back home to get some potentially life-saving rest before I dive back into the streams of busy schedules and deadlines.

Deadlines? What deadlines?

Well, I have a psychology test on Monday, which I’ve not studied at all. Then I have my Public Relations mid-term next Wednesday, which I’ve also not covered at all. I have my Pop Culture presentation due next Saturday, and I’ve not even touched it yet. And on top of that, I have another psychology assignment due two weeks from now. And also, I’ve not even started to discuss and plan my group’s Alternative Voices assignment.

And wait, that’s not it…

I’ve got a performance slot for The Hive in my college on the 2nd July, and I’ve got the worship session in which I’ve yet to know whether I’m playing bass or electric guitar on the 10th of July. Secretly I’m kinda hoping my college’s dance night would be canceled, which if according to the original plan, would take place somewhere around the end of July. Cuz if it’s not, I would have to play for the band sessions as well.

And as icing on the cake, I’ve to perform my daily duties as mummy’s boy, ie becoming mum’s personal driver, occasional house cleaner, and bla bla bla…

Just wish I could have more hours in a day. I’ve actually calculated and I figured I might need an extra 4 hours per day so that I could squeeze in some extra time to rest. But then again, it’s just me, if you know me I sleep a LOT, compared to a friend of mine who doesn’t sleep at all. Great huh? That ability might be his superpower actually, whilst the rest of the superheroes might have regenerative abilites and all the what nots, his is not to sleep nor rest.

But… but…

God, you have been gracious to me. Amidst of all things, You became my source of strength. You became my hope. You became my motivator. And above all, You became my protector. I could only pray that I’m thrown into these situations more, so that I could actively seek Your presence in my life and remind myself time and time again that You are God.

Oh well, time to go again. I can’t believe I took 20 minutes to post this. Thanks for the continuous pestering and pressure from my friends to update my blog, cuz if it’s not for you guys I would have been napping away right now and not post this up. Sorry lah, this is the best I could come up with now. Once I get materials to post, I would do it the next time… when I’m free.

Why am I posting it here you ask? Cuz I know you constantly check this page. Erm, blog stats won’t lie.

But if there’s anything I can add to it is that I appreciate everything you’ve said before. All the little things that mattered most. All the times you held your patience against my childishness.

P.S.: Can anyone tell me what does P.S. means? I don’t get the P.S. thing at the end of each letter, I know it’s supposed to be there for you to add something to it in case you forgot or haven’t added it into your letter but what does P.S. means?
