About Me:The 200 pound Chinese Guy…

Born on November the 28th, at sharp 1230am. ‘Landed’ at Pantai Medical Center ward number 13-D. According to my mum, I wouldn’t cry no matter what the doctor or nurse did (it’s a protocol to slap a newborn’s butt until he or she cries). But as soon as the doctor put me down, I started crying. I guess it’s from then on I had my sense of humor.

My life is pretty simple. Everything that I see is either nice, not so nice, good or bad, small or big, painful or delighting and so on. But sometimes I admit that I do have a weird and complicated way of thinking.

Apart from being overweight, other charms that I have includes sleeping too much, hates accounts (from what I know, girls like guys who’s good at accounts), likes to sing along and memorize every single song from the radio, and my infamously infamous charm, Never-Say-Enough attitude. Works wonders on a buffet table…

The world is becoming such a harsh place to live in. I’m getting more and more sick of it as each day passes by, but I wonder to myself, will this world be a better place if all the supposedly ‘bad elements’ such as wars, famines, crazy lunatics be removed? I don’t have my point of argument in that, but even if all those things are removed, will the world be a better place? That depends on how a person looks at it. The way I look at it, it starts from ourselves. The core of all problems or happiness. If only we can all think together that the world is a better place, if only we can all think as one that this life is worth living.

Sigh, enough rantings for now. Thanks for infecting yourself with the ‘Lam-virus version 20.0’. Now, go and spread it around…

  3. I AM IMMUNE TO THE LAM-VIRUS AS I AM LAM, AND HAVE BEEN FOR LO
THESE MANY YEARS. WHERE I LIVE NO ONE IS NAMED LAM OR LAMMY
UNLESS HEY ARE ASIAN. I AM HALF IRISH AND HALF SEMITIC/RUSSIAN JEW. MY FATHER WAS NAMED ABRAHAM BY HIS IMMIGRANT MOTHER.
HE WAS BORN WITH PROPERLY WOOLY HAIR FOR A JEW. SOMEONE TOLD HER HE LOOKED LIKE A LITTLE LAMB. SHE LIKED IT AND BEGAN TO
CALL HIM LAMELA. HIS THREE YEAR OLD BROTHER COULD NOT SAY
LAMELA, BUT INSTEAD CALLED HIM LAMMY. THIS BECAME HIS NICKNAME.
WHEN I EMERGED AS HIS FIRSTBORN SON HE NAMED ME LAMMY.
THIS NAME CAUSED MUCH TEASING AND LAUGHTER WHEN I WAS
BE INTRODUCED TO ANYONE. AS A CHILD I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN
ALMOST ANY OTHER NAME. AH, WELL SUCH IS LIFE.
I PREFER TO BE ADDRESSED AS LAM.
